Dutec Ltd. was founded in September 1999. Sean Conway together with Brendan Morris, having many years of experience as Senior Managers with previous Multinational Corporations, founded the new company. Dutec Ltd. invested in state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and set up operations in a Shannon Development facility in Corcanree Business Park. Financial Controller, Kevin Ryan, and several key technical and production staff also joined the company.

Dutec expanded into optical disk and software services, and further into Fulfillment Services, growing a very successful Supply Chain Management operation, which today provides Order, Hardware and Software Fulfillment for International Companies across many different Sectors e.g. Pharmaceutical, Telecoms, Education, etc. Dutec are continuing to invest in Duplication, Printing, Packaging, Warehousing, and IT infrastructure. The Company today provides a comprehensive Supply Chain Solution and Global Logistics Service.

DuTec today operates from two facilities in Limerick, Ireland. The manufacturing, facility (37,000 sq. ft. area) is located on the Dock road in Limerick, and the Logistics Operation (40,000 sq. ft.) is located in Castletroy, Limerick, Ireland. These facilities are within a twenty minute drive of each other.
